Pupdate Week 2: Fourth of July!
What an exciting week we’ve had! We had so much fun on the Fourth of July with all of our friends. We even wore our red and blue leashes to celebrate! Later in the week, we spent some time ruffing it at Teva! Now we’re looking forward to relaxing in the sun on Shabbat.
A Jewish Nation
My week began with Rosh Chodesh at the Kotel and ended with Havdalah at the Prime Minister’s residence. In the span of that week, the relationship between the Israeli government and the Jewish diaspora faltered in response to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision to renege on the agreement to fully build an egalitarian prayer space at the Kotel, and to limit recognized conversions to those under the supervision of the Orthodox Chief Rabbinate.
Jewish Life Update, Week Two: Shifting Perspectives
In Limud this summer, our Bonim campers are venturing in these woods, sharing their ideas about God. We began our journey by sharing our different ideas with the understanding that each of us has a different perspective, and it is by sharing these perspectives that we can gain a greater understanding.

A Big Shabbat Shalom from Olim 16’ in Europe!
While many of you were driving through the gates of camp on opening day, we were flying across the Atlantic Ocean. We landed Monday morning in Prague, Czech Republic tired but looking forward to beginning our NFTY in Israel Summer. We’re excited to join NFTY in Israel for their 59th Summer and soon to be the most epic summer ever.

Jewish Life Update, Week One: Giving Thanks
At camp we begin every day with the words, Modeh ani, “I give thanks.” Noticing the good and giving thanks are not simply things we can learn about, they are habits that take practice to cultivate.

On Monday, June 26 we opened our gates to hundreds of campers for Summer 2017! Campers arrived throughout the morning, greeted by our Machon participants, faculty, and staff.

An Exciting Weekend at Camp!
It’s been quite a weekend at Eisner Camp! As Shabbat concluded, we welcomed our Leadership Team to the Eisner Bubble. This group, our unit heads and department heads, began our training and learning with Havdalah.
