• Pupdate Week 2: Fourth of July!

    What an exciting week we've had! We had so much fun on the Fourth of July with all of our friends. We even wore our red and blue leashes to celebrate! Later in the week, we spent some time ruffing it at Teva! Now we're looking forward to relaxing in the sun on Shabbat.

  • A Jewish Nation

    My week began with Rosh Chodesh at the Kotel and ended with Havdalah at the Prime Minister's residence. In the span of that week, the relationship between the Israeli government and the Jewish diaspora faltered in response to Prime Minister Netanyahu's decision to renege on the agreement to fully build an egalitarian prayer space at the Kotel, and to limit recognized conversions to those under the supervision of the Orthodox Chief Rabbinate.

    While many of you were driving through the gates of camp on opening day, we were flying across the Atlantic Ocean. We landed Monday morning in Prague, Czech Republic tired but looking forward to beginning our NFTY in Israel Summer. We're excited to join NFTY in Israel for their 59th Summer and soon to be the most epic summer ever.
