Manor House Accommodations
This beautiful turn of the century Berkshire estate home contains more than 20 rooms of various sizes and many unique spaces to gather, meet and entertain.
- 65 Beds Max
- The mansion is unique as each bedroom differs throughout the building: some offer king, queen, full, or twin beds and private bathrooms, while others have dorm style bunk beds and shared bathrooms.
- The Tudor-inspired library, working fireplace in the Great Room, and old-world craftsmanship all add to the building’s character, beauty and utility.
Cabin Accommodations
We offer several winterized cabins, for those looking for the true camp experience!
- 186 Beds Max
- Each cabin offers an open layout that features ten bunk beds (sleeping up to twenty people) with showers and bathrooms in the back. Cabins work best for youth groups!
- Four of the cabins offer a private room for chaperones or adults, two of which have private bathrooms and two of which share with the rest of the cabin.
- Programming space for groups staying in cabins is located a short walk away!
Kaplan Center Accommodations
This building, named after civil rights activist Kivie Kaplan, offers a great retreat space to both sleep and meet.
- 48 Beds Max
- With a large programming space in our finished basement and lounge areas on the first and second floors, Kaplan Center offers a great combination of living and meeting space for your retreat.
- The building offers twelve rooms that comfortably sleeps four people each and have en-suite bathrooms.
- Our cozy Kaplan Center is perfect for guests that seek privacy in hotel-style accommodations.
MLC Accommodations
Our newest building, our Messinger Family Leadership Center offers comfortable dorm style accommodations.
- 88 Beds Max
- The building has two levels that mirror each other. Each contains four dorm-style rooms with 10 wooden bunk-beds and shared hallway bathrooms as well as two semi-private rooms with two twin beds and private bathrooms for group leaders and adult staff.
- The focal point of the building is a large, brightly lit common space with a fireplace and satellite T.V. – perfect for everything from educational programs to relaxing in the evening.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When is your facility available for rentals?
Eisner’s Retreat Center at URJ Camp Eisner is available end-of-August through end-of-May.
What is your rental minimum?
Our rental minimum is dependent on which building you will be staying in.
Cabins – 8 people per cabin
Manor House – 20 people
MLC – 25 people
Kaplan Center – 18 people
How many people can your facility accommodate?
Our maximum sleeping capacity is 387. We can fit 1,000 guests in total for a day event including meals.
What type of housing do you offer?
We provide housing options to accommodate all types of events and budgets including cabins, private rooms, and mansion housing.

Do you provide linens?
Linens are available in all housing styles for an additional $25 per set. Each set includes a pillow and pillowcase, blanket, fitted and top sheets, and a set of bath and hand towels. If you prefer the beds to be fully made, we charge $40 per set.
Is your campus handicap accessible?
All our new buildings on camp, including the dining hall, are wheelchair/handicap accessible, but our camp is positioned on a large hill with some areas a bit more difficult to access. We always have staff who can provide golf cart rides to those who need extra assistance, and we have ADA rooms available in the Kaplan Center.

What time is check-in/checkout?
Check-in is typically on Friday at 4pm with dinner as the first meal. Leaders can request an earlier arrival after 2pm to set up. There will be an Eisner host ready to meet you to show you to your buildings and assist with parking. Checkout is by 11am on Sunday with breakfast as the last meal. We offer a bagged lunch option if your group needs a meal on the go! If your group requires an extra sit-down meal, we are happy to accommodate at an additional fee. Please feel free to speak with your host while at camp about any timing concerns.
What DOES YOUR DEPOSIT POLICY LOOK LIKE?
Your deposit is the minimum cost of your contracted living space. Deposits are due 14 days within your signed contract. While we can put your date on hold on our calendar, signing your contract and sending in your deposit officially secures your housing. Due to our competitive off-season, there is no guarantee to hold your date without a signed contract and deposit.
DO YOU OFFER ONE NIGHT RETREATS OR DAY PASSES?
Yes, we are able to offer your groups a one-night retreat as well day rates depending on availability and how large your group is. Your one-night retreat will include 3 meals, 1 snack and 1 campfire set up. Any guests who wish to join your group just for the day can do so at a reduced cost that covers their meals.
Can I rent your facility for exclusive use?
Yes, we guarantee exclusivity with a minimal contract of $25k per night with a 2-night minimum on weekends. Some groups may end up being the only group on site, however, we do not guarantee this without the minimum.
Is your catering kosher?
We serve kosher style, meaning we do not serve dairy and meat in the same meal, and we never serve shellfish or pork. If you are interested in a fully kosher retreat, please reach out to us to learn more about possibilities and costs associated.
Can we bring our own food?
For specific events, we may allow outside catering with prior approval. Please inquire with our team to learn more. We do allow packaged snacks for non-mealtimes with prior approval and ask for them to stay within your living quarters. No nuts at any time may be brought on-site and the Eisner staff will not be responsible for serving or managing these items.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
We may allow alcohol, with prior written approval dependent on the type of event. Please reach out to learn more about our policies. Eisner is not liable or responsible for alcohol brought on the premises and our staff cannot store or serve any alcohol.
Smoking, including the use of vapes and any e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited at Eisner.
Do you have a medical professional on staff?
No, we do not have a medical professional on property during your stay. We do have basic first-aid supplies, but we recommend bringing supplies or a medic to join your group if needed. The closest hospital is Fairview Hospital which is 7 miles away, 15 minutes by car.
Do you have WIFI?
We have a robust WiFi network throughout all our new buildings on camp. You will have access to any passwords upon your arrival. Please let us know if you would prefer to have your participants disconnect and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
What should I pack?
We encourage folks to wear either closed toed shoes or sandals with a back for warmer months. The weather can be unpredictable in the Berkshires and even during warmer months the temperature can drop significantly at night and in the early morning. Please remember to pack layers! Here is what we suggest as a basic packing list.
