Welcome to Bubble Letters: A new series of letters written by campers from the bubble, to you. Enjoy!

Jamie Schwartz, Tzofim Bunk 23

Hi from the Bubble –

This week, my activities were the Unit Show, fencing, and volleyball. My bunk had high ropes this week, where we all bonded and became much closer with each other. Next week, I’m excited to continue rehearsals for the Chaverim/Tzofim show, Shrek

One of my favorite activities this session has been Adventure, because I love the thrill of heights and the challenge of climbing, but also all the trust I am able to put into the Adventure staff. In Kesher, I learned about finding Jewish values in everything, specifically Broadway musicals, because our values are reflected in the entire world.

My favorite camp meal is Pasta Fest! I love the variation in the noodles and sauces. A fun evening program our unit had was Tzofchella! It was like a mini Coachella, with music, dancing, temporary tattoos, face painting, and more!

This is my seventh year here at Eisner, and I still love the open, welcoming community at camp that accepts all people regardless of their differences. I love camp!

Hi!

It’s Shabbat! Last night, Bonim lead services. This morning Tzofim lead. They split into 4 groups, Reading Song, Art and Dance and presented their work, all relating to the parsha of the week. Anyway tonight is the all camp dance, Todd Yahney. It’s really fun. Tomorrow we do normal activities again. I have Garden, Arts and Crafts, and Archery. Arts and Crafts is really  fun because we are making different colors of homemade paper.

I’m really excited for trip day! Ofarim goes to six flags. I’m not really into rollercoasters. I hope I’m in the waterslide group. I like waterslides more than rollercoasters. On Saturday we have double Breira (free time). You can go in the lake, pool or do different art projects.

From,

Leah

Hi guys!

Yesterday we had song session and Shabbat T’filah. Everyone had such a great time laughing and singing. After that, we did Israeli dancing on the Quad. Tonight we have the all-camp dance with DJ Todd Yahney, and I’m very excited because every year, it’s super fun! I’m also excited for trip day. We are going to Six Flags and I can’t wait to go on all of the rides. Today is Saturday, so our Breira, or free time, is 2 hours long. People do all sorts of activities like arts & crafts, sports, and much more. Recently, we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They tasted amazing! The food here is so good, and I want to give a big shout out to the kitchen staff who are so talented.

Super excited for the rest of camp,

Eva

This week was amazing as every week but maybe even better. My activities were Garden, Arts & Crafts, and Karate. They were all really fun! I got mint leaves, made friendship bracelets & hung out with all my best friends. One night for an evening program we had Reverse Auction & it was really fun & I was laughing so hard! I can’t wait for trip day because we’re going to 6 Flags & I can’t wait to go on all the rides. It’s Saturday so we get double free time & I’m going to get some Challah from the Israeli Scouts Village! I don’t want camp to end, but I’m excited for the days to come!
